Just a quick note to let you know that the finalists for the AOE 2013 Art Ed Blog of the Year have been announced. There were many, many awesome bloggers selected, and yes, Art Teachers Hate Glitter was one of them (thank you). Don’t take my word for it, go check it out for yourself, but don’t leave first without voting.

I’d also like to take a quick moment to thank you all for your support, comments and emails after my last post. You made me cry, you made me laugh, and more importantly, you made me remember why it is that I do what it is that I do. Haters be damned!

I promise you, I’m not leaving for good. I just need a recharge period, and I needed to give myself permission to step away from the pressure to be funny. There are some changes coming down the line, which will all be revealed in good time (you know, after the grading end-of-the-quarter crunch is over and I’ve properly recovered).
