By now, it shouldn’t be any secret that I updated my blog. Clearly it has gone through an overhaul, and a pretty significant one at that. I happen to love the simpler, minimalist design, but maybe you’re missing some of the old page elements. Maybe you’re missing all of the old sidebar widgets. Mourn no more, because I’m here to reassure you, all of those elements are still here. Oh yes, they are. And I’m going to show you where to find them.
If you take a look at the top of the page, you’ll notice three neat little icons. Go ahead, I’ll give you a moment to scroll back up. See them? What are those, you wonder? Well, I’m glad you asked.
The three little horizontal lines.
Click on those lines. They’re actually a drop down menu of sorts. Here you will find all sorts of search features and ways to follow Art Teachers Hate Glitter. You’ll also find my copyright notice, which, while legally unnecessary, seems to be totally necessary.
The chain link looking thing.
Here you will find all the social media icons that link you to all of my different social media profiles.
The magnifying glass.
The universal sign for “search.” Click here for my search bar. Easy peasy.
And there you have it. Now you know how to navigate the new site. What are your thoughts on the new design? Love it? Hate it? Couldn’t really care less? Tell me what you think in the comments.
